Hi, I'm new to physlets. in the last days I've been playing a little bit with the simulation builder. however there's something i've been trying, unsuccesfully, to do. I'm interested in making objects crash into each other and then bounce off. as far as I know this is to be done with the Animator.what am i forgetting? thank you very much, jorgenio1.

ps: I've already tried to make objects crash by marking the "Mass" option in the objects' properties.

What do you mean by the crash effect? Just two circles bouncing with each other?
You can add two objects, give them x(t),y(t) corrdinate using mathematic equations.
With the build in step function in physlet library, you can show bouncing effect.

Please write down the equations you have assigned to each particles (Tell me in detail what you did.).
Otherwise, how can I know what might went wrong?

Late Afternoon, so the sun is located on the west, and that is why you find rainbow on the east. But I do not think you can find rainbow in all direction. You can only find rainbow when you are not facing the sun.
