Thought I'd share this with you, to see what this guy uses, so you can ask him, remember my idea of using stand ins for explaining physics visually? Smiley

POV-Ray  is a free 3D graphic program. May be it can be used to create 3D scene from data generated by EJS.

But some of the scenes at http://web.ncf.ca/ch865/ site, can be generated from EJS directly. I will try to create some simulations similar to those shown at the web site. If you download EJS, you will also find some 3D  examples.

That is so awesome!! I'm going to think of some stuff, how about particle vortex? within a pinched rotating sphere (think a baloon that has a curived cone towards teh center, like it's being sucked in!

Look for the taurus in the picture, see how it is 'pinched' in the middle?  can you imagine a pshere with teh same thing happening (like a balloon with to two small sticks pushing in from eithe side')

See picture here:

kind of like a particle vacuum, where the center of it acts as if it is sucking up gas molecules, or water molecules being drawn towards the center.

There are other pictures there as well.

See the vortex in that picture? it;s inside a "sphere" in how I am visualizing it and the particles would constitute the vortex itself.
