Might someone post an applet to show how paramagnetic and diamagnetic molecules would react passing through a magnetic gradient, a solinoid, a toroidial solinoid. If we could vary the magnet field strength, the molecule velocity, and the field dimentions that would be quite lovely.

If you are talking about one molecules in the magnetic field.
The Diamagnetic or Paramagnetic molecules can be modeled with magnetic moment \mu
in external field B.
The torque produced is \tau=\vec{\mu}\times \vec{B}= \mu B sin(\theta)
And the above equation is the same as pendulum problem. (The solution will be the same,too.).

However, if it you want to know the effect of magnetic field to a real object.
It is a different story.  The forces among molecular  need to be specified.
