Hello all
i am a new member here .. and i want to help me if you can Smiley

i have project about vapor power cycle and i will analyze it ..
i am afree to choose any cycle component with the following 2 restrictions:
1- there should be at least 6 component
2-the cycle should involve phase change

the cycle should be more efficient .. i do not know how i started Sad

plz help me ... i want your suggestion

i want a rankine cycle its contain ( pump , boiler , turbine , condenser )
where its give us efficiency greater than 50%

efficiency = work (net)/ heat transfer (input) *100

i want an approximate numbers for pressure and temperature to give me this cycle

Theoretically, the efficiency for carnot cycle only depends on temperature T1, T2.
Do you know about carnot cycle? You should be able to find it in standard thermodynamic text-book.

No no it's not real device , it is only calculation i will used EES program
but my dr. want the work net equal 400 MW and the temperture exist from boiler does not excess 620 k ( to can established in Kuwait )
iwant to attachment an EES file to see you what i do , but i do not know how i can attach it Huh

Allowed file types for upload: doc, gif, jpg, mpg, pdf, png, txt, zip, xml, java

Click Additional Options ... And you will find upload file selection button.
But I am not familiar with your EES program (I do not know what it is).
I can help you with information in physics, nothing else.

And I need to know your physics background. What do you know about Carnot cycle?
