i would like to find out for the FDTD java code.which is in term of 1 dimension, 2 dimension and 3 dimension for the waveform. about this FDTD which is using the maxwell equation. i dont know how to draw a waveform in java and dont know what kind of the function i need to use. so, anyone can teach me?

Take a look at Paul Falstad's site:

You may find what you need. Some of his applets are based on the FDTD method, and some are based on the spectral method.

EJS has build in GUI element which alow you enter function and EJS will generate the function plot it for you!
Please check out Mathematic function F(x), F(y) plot
