dear professor, I should make a simulation of charged particles in a magnetic field, quite complex but I would like to do it alone because it is my idea, and I have to keep the secret of it. Quinidi I thought, to learn how to do simulations with java.

What can I read to learn to program?

another question:

how many particles can be simulated with a normal pc immersed in a magnetic field? And if same particle emits a particle and hits another particle, which in turn emits a particle, until it hits a wall?

I would like to make a simulation which includes a portion of optical, magnetic fields and photoelectric effect

thanks

PS: there is a another way but we talk of this later. Grin

Please check out Examples for beginner who want to learn EJS

You will find Video show you how to create simulation with EJS and more examples.

The # of particles can be simulated is limited by your memory and CPU speed.
Normally, it is not difficult to simulate  hundred of particles.

You can either click "Download" XML source link, or Click "get file for offline use" button to download the jar file.
Double click the jar file will run the simulation as application.
Right Click in the simulation region, and select "open ejs model" , then it will run EJS and load xml source.

You will need to download EJS and install it. (Google search:"EJS download")
Unzip  the downloaded file to C:\ , then  double click "ejsconsole.jar" to run it.

The school and college can face different types of works in their educational test and evaluation. Thus learners need to follows writing structure recommended by class-room instructors. -*-
