This simulation allows learners to
(1) learn that each point on a transverse wave is executing SHM and its motion is perpendicular to the motion of the wave profile
(2) study the phase relation between points on a transverse wave

This is modelled after the longitudinal wave http://ngsir.netfirms.com/englishhtm/Lwave.htm
