This following applet is planet motion for two stars
Created by prof Hwang Modified by Ahmed
Original project planet motion for two stars

Two stars with equal mass are moving with respect to their center of mass.
You can drag their position and velocity with mouse.
Another star will move/ or velocity will change when you drag their position or velocity:
to keep the center of mass at the center and the velocity for center of mass equal to zero.

  • Post questions to be asked to help students to think, to explore.
  • Upload worksheets as attached files to share with more users.
Let's work together. We can help more users understand physics conceptually and enjoy the fun of learning physics!
