This following applet is Accelected fluid in a U shape tube

Original project Accelected fluid in a U shape tube

Two different fluids with density d1 and d2 in a U shaped tube.
You can change the density of each fluid to see how the equilibrium level varied with density.
(The volume of fluid with density d1 is kept the same).
If the tube is accelerated (adjust a in unit of gravity g), the surface of the fluid will tile due to acceleration.
