This follwing applet is Friction force and motion of the block

Original project Friction force and motion of the block
A block is moving on a surface with coefficient constant mu=0.6
It will slow down due to friction force.
You can change the external force to keep it moving.
You can add anothe mass on top the block by changing m2.
