
The following is a simulation for longitudinal wave (center lines/particles).
The period (T) and wave speed (v) can be changed with slider.
The top wave shows displacement at the same x position. The velocity and acceleration will be shown if the
showvy checkbox is activate.
A track point will be shown if
point is checked, the x position of track point can be adusted with slider.
The velocity(red arrow) and acceleration(blue arrow) at track point will be shown,too.
If
impulse button was click, an impulse will be generate. The x/y radio button determine directiom for the displacement.
You can drag the points/lines at the bottom to generate a wave. A damping constant
b can be used to adjust damping effect.
