It is a lot of fun to play with prism with light beams.
You can change the shape of the prism or direction of light source with mouse drag motion.
The simulation also shown the intensity of each refracted light path.
I hope you can enjoy playing with it as I do.

This is very useful! Is it much work to make the second ray and a FOV parameter, so I can see how a light coming from a projector with certain field-of-view will be refracted... or a camera image? Thank You!

The above simulation draw all the possible traces.
It seems that you only need a simply version but with a fixed width of incoming ray.

Could you provide a simple drawing for the case you need?  I can try to make a new one when I understand what you really want.
