Title: Need help in Circuit simulation
Post by: Paramesh on December 23, 2005, 12:19:04 am
Hello friends,

I'm new to this forum. :)

I am thinking of creating a new Power electronic simulator, for which i need to simulate basic electric circuits such as resistor, inductor, capacitor, etc.

I dont know how to start and do this project.

Meanwhile, i am doing this project in Java.

What i need to know is that how to simulate any circuit into mathematical model, and find the Current and Voltage at any point?

Please give me some links to read, or some source code, if you have any.

Thank You,
Best Regards, :D
Paramesh.

You can check out  mirror of circuitbuilder (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/demolab/CoLoS/circuitsimulator/examples/circuitbuilder.html) on our site.

The author is Toon Van Hoecke. (I am sorry that the author's web URL is not available anymore, so the link is removed).

You can find several related EJS simulations (you can download source) from Electromagnetism (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnujava/index.php?board=16.0) board.

Thank You.

But can i get a source code for the circuit builder?

The link is removed because the URL of the original author's web site is not available any more. Sorry!

However, you can find several related EJS simulations from Electromagnetism (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnujava/index.php?board=16.0) board  (you can download EJS source or jar file).  :D
