Title: Modern Optics
Post by: ibex52 on November 25, 2005, 11:03:31 am
Hi. Thanks for having this great site. The applets are a big help in my lectures.

I noticed the optics applets are mostly from geometric optics. (ray tracing, thin lenses, reflection/refraction, etc.) It would be nice also if you have applets that demonstrate some topics from physical optics. (light interference, Fraunhofer and Fresnel diffraction through various apertures or obstacles, polarization, etc.)

Thanks again and best regards

Hi Friend. Amazing site with lot of hard work. I most certainly appreciate your interest and service to all. If possible pls add some LASER experiments like Fabry Perot resonators etc.

Thanks n best regds.

Is anyone out there running a US Optics 1-piece base? Would like to know. Just ordered my new Zeiss 4.5x14 50mm and i am looking for some good hardware, any input would be great. Thanks -CoyoteControl.

There are several simulations related to physical optics, please check out Optics (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnujava/index.php?board=12.0)
