Title: Change orientation of center panel
Post by: andresgo on September 26, 2011, 10:00:13 am
I just want to change the freefall animation to be a non-parabolic horizontal animation.
You can see the particle goes frome north to south. I only want it to go from left to right like this

| o   ->    ->    ->     |

Where the o is the particle and the | are the grounds

I thinks its about the x and y but i don't know how to change it
Thank you :D

There are 3 columns in the simulation (above attached jar file).
It seems that you are talking about the center column (the trajectory was shown from top to bottom)
Do you mean you want to change the particle to move from left to right for the center column?

In that case, you need to switch x,y , but you might need to change the orientation of the view, too!

I would suggest you provide a simple drawing so that we can know what you really want to do,
and we will try to  guide you do it!

it is easy.
change
Pos x to variable y
same for the Particle Set
Pos X to variable motiony
check it out to attached gif (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnujava/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=2303.0;attach=4458;image)

to get uniform motion, set acceleration a =0

btw
andresgo is from Facebook!
he sort of find https://www.facebook.com/pages/Easy-Java-Simulation-Official/132622246810575 and i directed him here.
easily to collaborate and learn with ability to attach xml
