Title: Benham's Disk:A rotating black-and-white disk produces the illusion of color.
Post by: Fu-Kwun Hwang on January 04, 2011, 10:21:52 am
A rotating black-and-white disk produces the illusion of color.

When this black-and-white pattern rotates at the right speed, the pattern appears to contain colored rings. You see color because the different color receptors in your eyes respond at different rates.

You can use slider to change period T of the rotation and frame per second (fps) for the simulation.
