Title: Single Slit diffraction

You can control it using JavaScript. For example, using buttons:

hi prof!
would you be adding new visualization like this into your Ejs applet above?
http://www.ngsir.netfirms.com/applets/diffraction/3X/Diffraction.htm

i doubt i can do this myself :)

I tried to add it as applet tag. However, it does not work. May be they are some protection in the code. User need to access their web site to view it.

nonono.

what i mean is to add the wave like diffraction patterns that is formed after hitting the single slit separation as visualize in http://www.ngsir.netfirms.com/applets/diffraction/3X/Diffraction.htm into your very own Ejs applet above?

i have not found any Ejs applet that can do the same thing as http://www.ngsir.netfirms.com/applets/diffraction/3X/Diffraction.htm.
chance to create one Ejs simulation on single slit diffraction patterns to benefit even more physics learners and teachers?  ;D
i think this picture from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diffraction
(http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/3/3c/Wave_Diffraction_4Lambda_Slit.png/220px-Wave_Diffraction_4Lambda_Slit.png)
is perhaps clearer of my request of a new simulation  :D

the physics syllabus is like "explain the meaning of the term diffraction."
from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diffraction
the diffraction phenomenon is described as the apparent bending of waves around small obstacles and the spreading out of waves past small openings

Please check out Suposition of several waves (http://www.phy.ntnu.edu.tw/ntnujava/index.php?topic=2082.0)
I hope it is what you need.  :D
